DECORATIVE ART AND DESIGN

Jodi Heinz is a muralist and decorative painter specializing in custom finishes for walls, furniture, and fabric. Finishes include plasters, glazes, lime wash, faux wood and stone, gilding, and much more. Jodi is based in Interlaken, NJ, serving Monmouth County, central, northern and southern NJ, NY and the tri-state area. She has been providing services to clients for over 35 years. With a BFA in Fine Arts from Syracuse University, as well as an interior design certificate from Parsons School of Design, Jodi possesses a great ability to design and create a unique, custom environment.
 
Her designs have graced many beautiful homes and offices. She is a past designer at Stark Carpet, and has created colorways, repeats and designs for Thibaut, Schumacher and other textile firms. Jodi’s paint and plaster work are often embellished with various materials to give a tactile element to her designs, and also creates in bas relief.
 
Jodi is a past national president of the International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL), and served on its executive board for 6.5 years. IDAL exists to strengthen the decorative arts, providing support and education from the best in the industry, and also provides insurance for its members. She is also IDAL’s local chapter president, which is Metropolitan Artisans.

Jodi has also exhibited at Mansion in May, a designer showhouse, which benefits Morristown, Medical Center in NJ.
